Abbas Araqchi Meets Qatari Prime Minister in Moscow to Discuss Regional Developments

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Abbas Araqchi held a meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, in Moscow on Friday.
The two sides engaged in discussions focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging views on recent developments in the region. The meeting underscored the importance of continued diplomatic engagement and cooperation between Iran and Qatar amid evolving geopolitical dynamics.
Minister Araqchi arrived in Moscow on Thursday for a two-day visit at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Speaking upon his arrival, Araqchi stated that the purpose of his visit was to deliver a special message from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Araqchi, the message contained perspectives on key international and regional issues as well as matters pertaining to bilateral cooperation between Iran and Russia.
The meeting in Moscow reflects Iran’s ongoing diplomatic outreach to regional and global partners, as Tehran seeks to address shared concerns and deepen strategic partnerships.
