Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has said that Azerbaijan’s participation in the “C6” format demonstrates the country’s contribution to strengthening interregional cooperation across the Eurasian space.

In an interview with the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA), Aliyev said the dialogue and cooperation mechanisms established within the framework of the C6 platform were important not only for developing interstate relations but also for promoting peace, stability and sustainable progress across Eurasia.

The Azerbaijani president emphasized that participation in the format reflects Baku’s commitment to advancing broader regional cooperation and strengthening constructive dialogue among participating states.

He said such cooperation mechanisms create additional opportunities for closer interaction, contribute to the development of relations among countries and support efforts aimed at ensuring stability and sustainable development throughout the wider Eurasian region.

Aliyev’s remarks came as Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan continue to deepen their strategic partnership across political, economic, transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
