Ambassador Obaid Saeed Al Dhaheri Assumes Role in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, The Gulf Observer: In a formal ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Phnom Penh, Ambassador Obaid Saeed Al Dhaheri presented his credentials to Norodom Sihamoni, the esteemed King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, marking the commencement of his duties as the non-resident ambassador to Cambodia.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Al Dhaheri conveyed the warm greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. He extended their wishes for continuous development and prosperity for the government and the people of Cambodia.

Expressing his pride in representing the UAE in the Kingdom of Cambodia, Ambassador Al Dhaheri highlighted the UAE’s keenness to enhance cooperation across various sectors, aiming to strengthen the existing ties between the two nations. He emphasized the commitment to fostering diplomatic relations and advancing mutual interests for the benefit of both countries.

In response, King Norodom Sihamoni reciprocated the greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He conveyed his heartfelt wishes for further development and growth for the government and people of the UAE.

Sihamoni expressed his optimism regarding Ambassador Al Dhaheri’s role in enhancing bilateral relations across various fields between the UAE and the Kingdom of Cambodia.
