Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Visits Royal Opera House Muscat

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, visited the Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) today as part of his state visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
During the visit, Sheikh Tamim toured the esteemed cultural landmark and was briefed on its world-class facilities, its diverse performances, seasonal events, and year-round programming. He was also informed about the architectural magnificence of the ROHM, which elegantly combines Omani architectural heritage with influences from global architectural traditions.
On the occasion, ROHM hosted a special musical performance, featuring a passionate vocal chanting team, the Steel Band, and the 1st Battalion band of the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO).
At the conclusion of his visit, Sheikh Tamim signed the Visitors Book, commending the Royal Opera House Muscat as a symbol of cultural, civilizational, and artistic dialogue among nations worldwide.
The Emir was accompanied by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister and Head of the Mission of Honour, members of the ROHM Board of Directors, and his official delegation.
