Arab Ministerial Committee Delegation Holds Talks with French Foreign Minister on Gaza Crisis

Paris, The Gulf Observer: Senior members of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee engaged in high-level discussions with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot in Paris on Friday, focusing on the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip and efforts to advance peace in the region.

The delegation, led by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, included the Foreign Ministers of Jordan and Egypt, Ayman Safadi and Badr Abdelatty, respectively. The meeting, held at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, centered on coordinated international efforts to bring an end to the conflict in Gaza, ensure the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid, and address ongoing violations by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people.

The delegation expressed deep concern over these violations, which have been described as breaches of international law and humanitarian norms. They emphasized the urgency of halting the violence and restoring peace in the region, with a particular focus on protecting civilians and preventing further loss of life.

In addition to addressing the immediate crisis, the ministers discussed strategies for intensifying joint diplomatic actions aimed at promoting a just and lasting peace. Central to their discussions was the implementation of a two-state solution in line with established international resolutions.

The talks also included preparations for a high-level international conference on the two-state solution, which is scheduled to take place at the United Nations headquarters in New York in June. The conference will be co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France and aims to build momentum for renewed efforts toward peace and stability in the Middle East.

This meeting reflects the continued commitment of Arab nations and France to resolve the long-standing conflict and ensure a future of peace and security for both Palestinians and Israelis.
