Azerbaijan and Morocco Sign Cooperation Agreement to Strengthen Employment Collaboration

Abidjan, The Gulf Observer: A formal signing ceremony for a bilateral Action Plan took place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on the sidelines of the World Congress of the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES). The agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening cooperation between the two participating employment agencies.

The Action Plan is designed to deepen bilateral relations and advance joint initiatives in critical areas of labor market development. Key components of the Plan include the implementation of active labor market programs, the digitalization of employment services, and enhanced vocational training.

Particular emphasis is placed on expanding employment opportunities for the unemployed, with a focus on youth engagement, and on improving access to career guidance services.

The cooperation framework outlined in the Plan also provides for mutual familiarization visits and the co-organization of joint events, aimed at facilitating the exchange of best practices and fostering long-term institutional collaboration.

The initiative reflects the shared commitment of both parties to modernize public employment services and promote inclusive labor market policies.
