Azerbaijan Kicks Off Municipal Elections as President Ilham Aliyev Casts His Vote

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The municipal elections began across Azerbaijan on January 29, with voters heading to polling stations throughout the country.
Azerbaijan’s President, Ilham Aliyev, participated in the voting process by casting his ballot at polling station No. 1 of Sabail constituency No. 7, located at Secondary School No. 6 in Baku.
President Aliyev entered the voting booth and cast his vote, marking the commencement of the election process. A total of 576 registered voters were present at the polling station, where 31 candidates are running for election in the Sabail constituency.
The ongoing municipal elections are set to determine local leadership positions across the country, with citizens participating in this vital democratic process.
