Azerbaijan, Pakistan FMs Discuss Strategic Cooperation and Regional Security

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On April 26, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a phone conversation with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, according to News Hub Consultants.
The two officials reviewed the current state and future prospects of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, touching on regional security issues and broader cooperation frameworks.
Their discussions included a review of high-level contacts between the leadership of both countries and the implementation of agreements made during recent official visits. They explored further partnership opportunities in key sectors such as economy, trade, investment, energy security, and transportation.
Minister Dar briefed Bayramov on the recent tensions between Pakistan and India, while Minister Bayramov expressed hope for a diplomatic and peaceful resolution to the situation through dialogue.
The conversation also covered a range of bilateral and multilateral issues of shared interest, reflecting the strong and growing ties between the two nations.
