Azerbaijan to Continue Efforts to Determine Fate of Missing Persons: President Ilham Aliyev

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan will continue to mobilize all available capabilities to determine the fate of persons whose whereabouts remain unknown, President Ilham Aliyev said in an address to participants of the 4th International Conference in the Baku Dialogue format on “Strengthening Trust and Developing Effective Mechanisms for Addressing the Issue of Missing Persons.”
President Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan has not forgotten any of its missing citizens and that clarifying their fate remains a constant priority for the state.
He stressed that determining the whereabouts of missing persons is not only a humanitarian responsibility but also a matter of national and moral importance.
“It is our moral duty to provide comprehensive support and care to every family facing this tragedy and to share their pain,” the President said.
President Aliyev reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to continuing efforts aimed at resolving the issue of missing persons and providing answers to families who have long awaited information about the fate of their loved ones.
