Azerbaijani Servicemen Engage in Efes – 2024 Multinational Exercise

Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in coordination with the Republic of Türkiye, is pleased to announce the commencement of the Efes – 2024 multinational exercise, a dynamic event aimed at fostering international cooperation and enhancing military interoperability.
The exercise, which involves a total of 1567 participants representing 49 countries, is being held in the historic cities of Istanbul and Izmir, situated in the vibrant Republic of Türkiye. Designed to promote synergy and exchange of best practices among participating nations, Efes – 2024 serves as a testament to the enduring commitment to peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond.
A contingent of Azerbaijani servicemen is actively participating in the exercise, contributing to both the computer-assisted command-staff and live-fire stages. Their involvement underscores the strong bilateral ties and mutual cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Türkiye in the realm of defense and security.
The Efes – 2024 multinational exercise will span until May 30, providing ample opportunities for participants to engage in simulated scenarios, joint training activities, and strategic discussions aimed at bolstering collective defense capabilities and readiness.
