Bayramov, Sybiha Discuss Expanding Azerbaijan-Ukraine Partnership in Kyiv
Kyiv, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan and Ukraine have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and strengthening their longstanding partnership as Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held high-level talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha during an official visit to Kyiv.
As part of the visit, Foreign Ministers Bayramov and Sybiha laid flowers at the Memorial Site dedicated to the fallen defenders of Ukraine, paying tribute to those who lost their lives in the country’s defense.
The two ministers first held a one-on-one meeting, followed by expanded bilateral talks involving senior officials from both delegations.
During the discussions, the sides reviewed the current state of Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations and exchanged views on regional and international security issues of mutual interest.
Both ministers underscored the importance of further advancing the existing allied relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, emphasizing that cooperation between the two countries is founded on mutual respect, sovereignty, and consideration for each other’s national interests.
The talks also focused on the implementation of agreements reached during previous high-level engagements, with both sides expressing their commitment to ensuring the effective execution of bilateral initiatives across various sectors.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared determination of Azerbaijan and Ukraine to expand political dialogue and strengthen cooperation on issues of common interest while maintaining close coordination on regional and international developments.
