Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron early Friday to discuss regional developments, bilateral relations, and efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the two leaders reviewed the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and France and explored ways to further expand cooperation across various sectors in line with the shared interests of both countries.

During the call, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President Macron also discussed ongoing regional developments, emphasizing the importance of strengthening security and stability while ensuring the freedom of maritime navigation. The leaders underscored the need for continued coordination to address regional challenges and support international efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability.

The conversation also included an exchange of views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, reflecting the close dialogue and strategic partnership between Riyadh and Paris on key global and regional affairs.
