Danish Prime Minister, Senior Ministers Join Copenhagen Pride Parade

Copenhagen, The Gulf Observer : Several senior Danish government ministers, including Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, participated in the annual Copenhagen Pride Parade held in the Danish capital on Saturday.

According to media reports, Prime Minister Frederiksen joined Minister of Justice Nicolai Wammen, Minister for Equality Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen and Minister for Immigration and Integration Morten Bødskov, among other political figures, in the parade.

Minister for Equality Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen, alongside Prime Minister Frederiksen and Justice Minister Nicolai Wammen, took part in opening the parade at around 1 p.m.

The participation of senior government officials highlighted the prominent role of Copenhagen Pride in Denmark’s public and political life.

The annual event brought together participants and supporters in Copenhagen to mark Pride and promote equality and inclusion.

Copenhagen Pride is among the major annual public events in the Danish capital, attracting large numbers of participants and visitors from Denmark and abroad.
