Emir of Qatar Welcomes Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi
Doha, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, received His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at the Amiri Diwan in Doha during an official visit to Qatar.
H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani warmly welcomed the Crown Prince and his accompanying delegation, engaging in discussions that underscored the deep cooperation and strong brotherly ties between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The meeting focused on enhancing joint cooperation in strategic sectors of mutual interest, further strengthening the already close relationship between the two nations.
At the outset of the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. They extended their best wishes for the Emir’s health and happiness, and for continued prosperity and progress for the State of Qatar and its people.
In return, H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani extended greetings and well wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing his desire for further development and success for the UAE and its people.
During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed the UAE’s leadership and people’s dedication to strengthening bilateral ties with Qatar. He expressed a commitment to advancing cooperation between the two nations in key sectors, aspiring to elevate relations to new levels.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled also conveyed his heartfelt thanks to H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for the warm reception and hospitality extended to him and the delegation during this brotherly visit. He wished Qatar continued progress and growth under the leadership of its Emir.
The meeting was attended by several senior officials from both sides, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism; Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; and Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhboot Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Qatar, among other high-level officials.
