Erdogan Reaffirms Türkiye’s Support for Gaza and Commitment to Ceasefire Efforts Amid Prisoner Exchange

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that despite continued provocations from Israel, the exchange of prisoners between Israel and Hamas is ongoing.
Speaking after a Cabinet meeting on Monday, Erdogan reiterated Türkiye’s commitment to ensuring the success of a ceasefire agreement, stating that the country is prepared to take necessary steps to make it permanent.
Erdogan also highlighted the stark contrast between the conditions of prisoners released by Israel and those freed by Hamas, noting that the physical state of the exchanged captives reveals a significant difference in mindset.
“We cannot leave our brothers and sisters in Gaza alone during this period. I once again repeat my call to provide more support to the oppressed people of Gaza ahead of the holy month of Ramadan,” he added, emphasizing Türkiye’s continuous efforts to support Gaza amidst the ongoing conflict.
