Ethiopian Ambassador Pays Farewell Call on Turkmen Counterpart in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On October 9, 2025, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Pakistan and Turkmenistan (with residence in Islamabad), Jemal Beker Abdula, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in Pakistan, paid a farewell call on the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Atadjan Movlamov, at the Turkmen Chancery.

During the meeting, Ambassador Movlamov extended his appreciation to his Ethiopian counterpart for the fruitful cooperation and his personal contribution to the development of contacts between Turkmenistan and Ethiopia. He conveyed his best wishes to Ambassador Jemal Beker for continued success and new accomplishments in his future endeavors.

In turn, Ambassador Jemal Beker commended Turkmenistan’s policy of positive neutrality, describing it as a model of responsible diplomacy that fosters trust, dialogue, and mutual understanding among nations. He also expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Movlamov for his consistent support and cordial engagement within the diplomatic community in Islamabad.

Concluding the meeting, both sides expressed confidence that the friendly relations established between Turkmenistan and Ethiopia will continue to strengthen, contributing to the enhancement of mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries in the international arena.
