Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Participate in SCO+ Meeting in Astana

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, will participate in the SCO+ format meeting, scheduled to take place within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Astana, RIA Novosti reports.

The meeting will also see the participation of leaders from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Qatar, Mongolia, the UAE, and representatives from various international organizations. This gathering marks the first time the meeting will be held in the SCO+ format.

The agenda for the SCO+ meeting will encompass discussions on multilateral negotiations, enhancing efforts for sustainable peace and development, and fostering cooperation between the SCO and other participating countries on international and regional issues.

The meeting is set to take place on July 4 in Astana.
