President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Participates in First Central Asia–EU Summit in Samarkand

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the inaugural Central Asia–European Union Summit held on Friday in Samarkand, reaffirming the country’s commitment to fostering regional and international cooperation, Turkmen official media reported.
As a key player in Central Asia, Turkmenistan continues to advance its role in shaping a robust collective security framework while reinforcing its standing in global political and economic arenas. The nation’s active engagement in high-level dialogues underscores its dedication to peace, stability, and sustainable development.
In his address at the summit, President Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan’s readiness to broaden cooperation with both regional neighbors and European partners. He stressed the importance of leveraging existing opportunities to build effective and balanced international relations, particularly in addressing pressing global challenges.
The summit, which brought together leaders of Central Asian countries and top representatives of the European Union, focused on enhancing collaboration in priority areas such as trade, economics, investment, and cultural and humanitarian exchange.
