Heydar Aliyev Foundation Organizes Festivities for Children in Need of Special Care
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Festive events were organised for children in need of special care at various entertainment venues in Baku on the initiative of First Vice-President of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.
The events brought together children of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for the liberation of Azerbaijan’s territories, as well as children deprived of parental care, those raised in boarding schools, and children with health limitations or requiring special care.
The children participated in a range of specially arranged recreational activities, workshops and dance programmes, providing them with an opportunity to spend an enjoyable day with their peers.
During the seaside event, the children enjoyed swimming pool activities, games and a special luncheon. Children celebrating their birthdays also marked the occasion together with their friends.
At the conclusion of the festivities, each child received a gift from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation as a keepsake.
Speaking about the event, 11-year-old Yunis Abbasov, 10-year-old Murad Azimov and 10-year-old Madina Azizli expressed their happiness at the celebrations, saying they had enjoyed the entertainment and spending time with their friends.
The children also congratulated Mehriban Aliyeva on her birthday and expressed gratitude for her continued care and attention, as well as for organising the special event.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation regularly supports vulnerable children, including those deprived of parental care, children with special needs and the children of martyrs. Alongside contributing to their social protection, the Foundation frequently organises recreational and entertainment programmes aimed at supporting their well-being and creating positive experiences for them.
