Intensified Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza Claim Lives of Women and Children

Gaza City, The Gulf Observer: Israeli forces have intensified their assault on Gaza, resulting in a rising death toll, with women and children comprising the majority of casualties, according to reports from the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

In central Gaza, two people were killed and several others injured when Israeli airstrikes targeted the Al-Ubaid family home near the Ain Jalut Towers in Al-Nuseirat. In a separate attack, four members of the Sahweil family lost their lives after their home on Hamid Street in Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City, was struck by Israeli aircraft.

Further airstrikes hit a displaced persons’ tent belonging to the Ismail family near the entrance to Al-Maghazi in central Gaza, leaving several civilians injured. Additionally, four Palestinians, including children, were killed and 13 others injured in an airstrike on the Bureij refugee camp, also in central Gaza.

The escalating violence has prompted renewed international concern, with calls for immediate de-escalation to protect civilians. Medical teams are overwhelmed, as hospitals in Gaza face shortages of supplies and resources due to the ongoing blockade.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to deepen, with thousands displaced and civilian infrastructure severely damaged. Global leaders and humanitarian organizations are urging for urgent measures to ensure the protection of non-combatants and access to humanitarian aid in the affected regions.

Further developments will follow as the situation unfolds.
