Iranian President Extends Congratulations to Tajikistan on Independence Anniversary

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian extended his heartfelt congratulations to his Tajik counterpart, President Emomali Rahmon, and the people of Tajikistan on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.

In a message delivered on Saturday, President Pezeshkian conveyed his best wishes to President Rahmon, emphasizing the strong ties between the two nations. The Iranian leader highlighted that fostering relations with regional countries, particularly with Tajikistan, remains a key priority in Iran’s foreign policy.

President Pezeshkian expressed optimism about the future of Iran-Tajikistan relations, hoping for the further strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation. He underlined that mutual respect will serve as the foundation for expanding ties between the two countries in the years ahead.

Tajikistan celebrates its Independence Day annually on September 9, marking the country’s separation from the Soviet Union in 1991.
