Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Engages in High-Level Diplomatic Talks at OSCE Meeting
Vienna, The Gulf Observer: On the sidelines of the 31st Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu held productive meetings with the foreign ministers of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, Austria, Alexander Schallenberg, and Cyprus, Konstantinos Kombos, as well as the European Union High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
Discussions centered on strengthening bilateral cooperation, enhancing political dialogue, expanding mutual trade, and promoting cultural and humanitarian exchanges. The leaders emphasized the importance of advancing economic partnerships that prioritize sustainable development and mutually beneficial collaboration.
EU High Commissioner Kaja Kallas reaffirmed the European Union’s strong support for Kazakhstan’s political and socio-economic reforms initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. These reforms aim to enhance the welfare of Kazakhstan’s citizens and foster a progressive, resilient economy.
Minister Nurtleu expressed Kazakhstan’s commitment to further advancing relations with the European Union and its member states under the Agreement on Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation. He reiterated Kazakhstan’s readiness to explore opportunities for deepening multifaceted collaboration with European partners.
The outcomes of these diplomatic engagements underscored the shared commitment of all parties to strengthening strategic partnerships and addressing common global and regional challenges through cooperative approaches.
