Doha, The Gulf Observer: The ‘Liwan Art’ event, which is being held as part of Qatar National Day celebrations at Darb Al Saai, hosted a group of artists whose works are displayed in the various arts sections.

Minister of Culture H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, who is also Chairman of QND Celebrations Organizing Committee, toured the ‘Liwan Art’ exhibition, where he was briefed by the artists about the content of paintings, pottery souvenirs , Arabic calligraphy and Islamic decorations.Artist Hamid Abdullah Al Qahtani expressed his happiness to participate with his works in QND 2022 celebrations.

He said that his participation is to hold workshops to teach the art of making pottery, in addition to the previous artworks displayed in the various arts section, which symbolise Qatari and Islamic culture.Al Qahtani said that four workshops will be presented during QND celebrations at Darb Al Saai, explaining that registration for attendance is available on the website of the Ministry of Culture, Department of Visual Arts, for those wishing to attend.
