Former Mexican President died at 100

Mexico City, The Gulf Observer: Former Mexican President Luis Echeverria Alvarez died at the age of 100 on Friday night at his residence in Cuernavaca.

Alvarez was a Mexican lawyer and politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party, who served as the president of Mexico from 1970 to 1976.
