Ms. Sidra Tul Muntaha to Lead Costume Design and Creative Direction for Cultural Colors Season 5

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Ms. Sidra Tul Muntaha, Head of the Fashion Design Department at NiftySphere Institute of Arts & Design, is leading the creative design and costume development for Cultural Colors Season 5, scheduled to be held on 27 August 2026 at Sheesh Mahal, Serena Hotel Islamabad.

In her capacity as Head of the Fashion Design Department, Sidra Tul Muntaha is responsible for supervising the overall costume design, collection development, thematic interpretation and visual direction of the fashion show. She is working closely with the institute’s students and creative teams to translate cultural concepts and themes into contemporary fashion, while preserving the authenticity and identity of the heritage being represented.

Her role is not confined to the forthcoming season. Sidra Tul Muntaha has been actively involved in overseeing the design concepts, themes, costumes and creative collections presented across NiftySphere’s fashion shows and cultural showcases. Her work centres on developing distinctive design narratives that connect traditional craftsmanship and cultural heritage with modern fashion.

For Cultural Colors Season 5, she is supervising the development of the complete range of costumes and design elements, ensuring that each collection reflects the event’s cultural vision while meeting professional fashion standards. Students are being guided throughout the creative process — from research and concept development to design, material selection, embellishment, styling and final presentation.

Through this leadership, the Fashion Design Department provides students with practical exposure to large-scale fashion production and professional creative direction. The approach is intended to help young designers build confidence, strengthen their technical and conceptual skills, and experience the full process of taking a design concept from the classroom to an international-standard fashion platform.

Cultural Colors Season 5 will once again bring together fashion, culture, art, heritage and youth creativity, with Sidra Tul Muntaha playing a key role in shaping the visual and design identity of the event.
