Oman and Kuwait Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Regional Cooperation

Al Jabal Al Akhdar, The Gulf Observer: The Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, held a bilateral meeting on Monday with the Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, on the sidelines of the 11th session of the Omani-Kuwaiti Joint Committee held in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the longstanding and fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait, emphasizing the depth of historical ties and mutual cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed ways to further enhance bilateral collaboration across various sectors in order to serve shared interests and support continued progress in relations at all levels.

The two ministers exchanged views on a range of regional and international developments of mutual concern. They underscored the importance of sustained coordination and consultation between the two countries, reaffirming their commitment to supporting efforts aimed at promoting security and stability in the region.

Both sides also reiterated their support for diplomatic dialogue as the primary means of addressing regional challenges and resolving disputes peacefully.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from both delegations.
