Oman and Niger Discuss Expanding Bilateral Partnership, Plan Exchange Visits

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, received a telephone call on Saturday from Niger’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Nigeriens Abroad, Bakary Yaou Sangaré, during which the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand their strategic partnership.

According to an official statement, the two foreign ministers reviewed opportunities to enhance collaboration between Oman and Niger and explored avenues to further develop relations across areas of mutual interest.

The ministers also agreed to organise reciprocal visits involving representatives from both the public and private sectors. The planned exchanges are aimed at continuing consultations, promoting joint initiatives, and reinforcing bilateral ties while advancing the shared interests of the two countries in the coming period.
