Oman to Participate in Baku International Book Fair 2024

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, will take part in the Baku International Book Fair, scheduled to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from October 2 to 8, 2024. This participation aligns with Oman’s strategic objective of showcasing its rich culture and reinforcing the presence of Omani intellectual contributions on the global stage.

The Ministry’s pavilion at the fair will serve as a comprehensive introduction to Oman’s history and modern developments, offering visitors a diverse selection of literary, artistic, intellectual, and scientific publications, as well as translations. These works will highlight the unique perspectives and styles of Omani authors and intellectuals.

The event will also provide an important platform for strengthening cultural cooperation between Oman and Azerbaijan, particularly in the fields of publishing and the book industry. With participants from around the world, the Baku International Book Fair will offer a valuable opportunity for Omani authors to share their writing styles and for international visitors to gain insight into Oman’s literary and intellectual heritage.
