Oman Welcomes US-Brokered Israel–Lebanon Ceasefire, Urges Full Compliance
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the announcement by Donald Trump regarding the achievement of a ceasefire between Israel and the Lebanon, which took effect on Thursday evening.
In an official statement, Oman expressed its appreciation for the efforts undertaken by the United States in facilitating the agreement, describing it as a constructive step toward de-escalation and regional stability.
The Sultanate emphasized the importance of all concerned parties adhering strictly to the terms of the ceasefire and working collectively to prevent any violations that could undermine the agreement.
Oman further reiterated its longstanding position in support of dialogue, peaceful conflict resolution, and sustained diplomatic engagement to ensure security and stability across the region.
