Pakistan Armed Forces Shoot Down Six More Indian Drones, Total Now 35

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Pakistan Armed Forces on Friday successfully intercepted and destroyed six additional Indian drones of Israeli origin in three separate locations across Punjab province, bringing the total number of downed drones to 35, security sources confirmed.
According to details shared with the media, one drone was shot down in Vehari, another in Pakpattan, while four were neutralised in Okara. The latest interceptions mark a continued escalation in aerial intrusions amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and India.
Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) stated that the drones were detected and tracked through Pakistan’s radar systems, which maintain constant vigilance over national airspace.
“Whenever an enemy drone enters our airspace, it is continuously monitored,” the DG ISPR said, noting that the country’s air defence forces are equipped to detect and respond to even the smallest aerial threats. He emphasized that stringent operational protocols are followed to ensure drones are neutralised safely, particularly in areas near civilian populations and commercial air corridors.
Defence analysts lauded the armed forces for their swift and effective response, citing the incident as a testament to Pakistan’s high state of defence readiness.
“The precise tracking and neutralisation of these drones reflects the advanced capability of Pakistan’s surveillance and air defence systems,” said military experts.
Tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours have intensified in recent days, with multiple exchanges of fire and reported casualties. Pakistan’s leadership has reiterated its resolve to defend the country’s sovereignty and respond to any act of aggression.
The situation remains fluid, and authorities continue to monitor developments closely.
