President Aliyev Signs Order on Autumn 2025 Military Conscription in Azerbaijan

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the conscription of citizens for active military service and the transfer of servicemen from active duty to reserve units during the period of October 1–30, 2025.

Under the presidential order, Azerbaijani citizens born in 2007 who will have reached the age of 18 by the date of conscription, as well as citizens born between 1995 and 2006 who are under the age of 30 and do not have the right to deferment, will be drafted into active military service during the specified period.

The order also stipulates the transfer of servicemen completing their active duty to reserve units in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with taking the necessary measures to ensure the proper implementation of the order.
