UAE President Oversees Swearing-In of New Ambassadors, Reaffirms Commitment to Global Partnerships

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan witnessed the swearing-in ceremony of a number of newly appointed ambassadors, underscoring the country’s continued commitment to strengthening international cooperation and fostering strategic partnerships.

During the ceremony, His Highness extended his best wishes to the ambassadors for success in their diplomatic assignments, emphasizing the importance of enhancing bilateral relations in line with the UAE’s vision of building constructive partnerships that serve mutual interests and contribute to shared prosperity.

He reaffirmed that the UAE’s longstanding foreign policy approach is rooted in promoting cooperation and advancing development-oriented partnerships for the benefit of both its citizens and communities around the world. The President also highlighted the role of diplomacy in fostering mutual understanding and collaboration among nations.

The ambassadors who took the oath included Omar Rashid Matar Saeed Al Neyadi, appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Costa Rica; Mohammed Ahmed Bandooq Al Qamzi, Ambassador to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); Mohammed Matar Butti Al Khaili, Ambassador to Ukraine; and Fahad Abdulrahman Ali Al Bishr, Ambassador to the Republic of Uganda.

The ceremony was attended by a number of senior ministers and government officials, reflecting the significance of the occasion in advancing the UAE’s diplomatic outreach and global engagement.
