President Emomali Rahmon Arrives in Mongolia on State Visit

Ulaanbaatar, The Gulf Observer: President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Ulaanbaatar on Monday for a state visit to Mongolia aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The reception area at Ulaanbaatar International Airport was decorated with the national flags of Tajikistan and Mongolia to mark the arrival of the distinguished guest.

Upon arrival, President Rahmon was warmly received by Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs Batmunkh Battsetseg, along with other senior government officials and dignitaries.

In accordance with the official protocol for state visits, a red carpet was laid out at the foot of the aircraft, while an honour guard lined both sides to welcome the Tajik leader.

The welcoming ceremony was further enhanced by the participation of a group of Mongolian youth dressed in traditional national attire, reflecting the country’s customs and hospitality in receiving high-level foreign guests.

President Rahmon’s state visit is expected to include high-level talks with Mongolian leaders on enhancing political dialogue, economic cooperation, and partnership in areas of mutual interest.
