President Emomali Rahmon Inaugurates New Hospital in Devashtich, Launches Development Projects

Devashtich, The Gulf Observer: President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on July 7 inaugurated the new building of Central Hospital No. 6 in the village of Dalyoni Bolo, Devashtich district, marking another milestone in the country’s efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure ahead of the 35th anniversary of state independence.

The Head of State officially opened the facility by unveiling a commemorative plaque. Constructed in line with presidential directives using high-quality domestic materials, the hospital has been equipped with modern medical technologies to improve healthcare services for local communities.

Officials informed President Rahmon that the new hospital comprises four departments with a capacity of 40 beds and provides modern working conditions for doctors and medical personnel. The facility is furnished with advanced medical equipment, including electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, artificial respiration systems, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, sterilization devices, a circumcision room, and a comprehensive set of surgical instruments imported from developed countries.

The commissioning of the hospital has created employment opportunities for 30 qualified doctors while expanding access to quality healthcare for approximately 14,384 residents of the villages of Dalyoni Bolo, Obiborik, Kalachai Arbob, and Navobod.

Authorities noted that the establishment of modern healthcare facilities, particularly in remote regions, reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing medical diagnosis, treatment, and public health services across the country.

During his visit, President Rahmon met with hospital staff and urged them to deliver high-quality medical services while maintaining professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility in serving the public.

The President emphasized that protecting public health and advancing the healthcare sector remain central priorities of Tajikistan’s social policy. He stressed the importance of improving the qualifications of medical personnel, adopting modern diagnostic and treatment methods, and further enhancing healthcare services through the effective use of advanced technologies.

As part of the visit, President Rahmon also remotely inaugurated several new facilities in the industrial, healthcare, education, and cultural sectors, underscoring the government’s continued focus on expanding public infrastructure and improving living standards throughout the country.
