UAE President Reaffirms Support for Emirates Foundation’s Community Development Mission
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reaffirmed the importance of strengthening social cohesion and community empowerment during a meeting with a delegation from Emirates Foundation, praising the organization’s contributions to national development over the past two decades.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his appreciation for the Foundation’s efforts in expanding its role through initiatives that promote social solidarity, reinforce national values, and empower communities in line with the UAE’s vision of building a prosperous, stable, and cohesive society.
The President emphasized that social cohesion remains the cornerstone of a strong nation capable of achieving its ambitions, overcoming challenges, and confidently advancing toward the future.
Sheikh Mohamed also reviewed the Foundation’s wide-ranging programmes aimed at strengthening family and community values, encouraging public participation, and supporting innovative initiatives designed to deliver sustainable long-term benefits for the nation.
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Emirates Foundation, affirmed that, under the guidance and support of the UAE leadership, the Foundation will continue expanding its impact through strategic partnerships and initiatives that empower individuals, enhance community engagement, and invest in the potential of young people.
He said these efforts contribute to the UAE’s national development priorities, support the country’s vision of building a more cohesive, prosperous, and sustainable society, and further strengthen its position as a global model for community development.
Members of the Emirates Foundation delegation expressed their appreciation for the continued support of President Sheikh Mohamed and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the Foundation’s mission of serving the community and contributing to the nation’s development.
The meeting was attended by several senior members of the UAE leadership, including H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, along with other Sheikhs, senior officials, guests, and citizens.
