President Emomali Rahmon Inspects Intensive Orchard in Khovaling, Stresses Modern Farming Practices

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: At the conclusion of his visit to the Khovaling district of Khatlon region, the President of Emomali Rahmon inspected an intensive orchard established across 10 hectares of hilly terrain.
It was reported that the apple orchard was established three years ago and has already begun yielding a bountiful harvest this year. Benefiting from the favorable climate and the unique natural landscape of the area, local farmers expressed confidence in achieving high-quality and abundant apple production.
The fertile and well-suited climatic conditions of Khovaling district, located in Tajikistan, also support the cultivation of other fruit-bearing trees, including rosehip, cherry plum, and cherry trees.
During his interaction with agricultural workers, President Emomali Rahmon provided guidance and recommendations on the importance of adhering to modern agronomic practices and introducing advanced horticultural methods to further enhance productivity and efficiency in fruit cultivation.
