President of Iran arrives in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Tashkent.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and other officials met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport.
In recent years, high-level talks between Uzbekistan and Iran have been taking place in a fruitful and practical spirit. Several documents covering various areas of cooperation were adopted.
It should be noted that on September 14 last year, President Ebrahim Raisi paid an official visit to Uzbekistan. The President of Uzbekistan paid an official visit to Iran on June 18 this year.
