Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a directive for the release of 2,269 inmates from correctional institutions across the UAE in celebration of the nation’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad (National Day).

In addition to their release, His Highness has pledged to cover all fines and penalties imposed on the inmates, ensuring a smooth transition as they reintegrate into society. The pardoned individuals were serving sentences for a range of offences.

This compassionate initiative underscores His Highness’ dedication to promoting rehabilitation and social harmony.
