President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Undertake Official Visit to the UAE

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will embark on an official visit to the UAE from January 13 to 16.

The visit’s agenda includes a series of high-level meetings and events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. In Abu Dhabi, President Mirziyoyev will hold bilateral discussions with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and engage with key representatives of leading government organizations, companies, and banks. He will also participate in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

In Dubai, a meeting with the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is scheduled.

The discussions will focus on strengthening the friendship and comprehensive partnership between Uzbekistan and the UAE. Key priorities include cooperation in investment, green energy, infrastructure, digitalization, artificial intelligence, innovative development, and tourism. Cultural and humanitarian exchanges will also feature prominently.

Additionally, both sides will deliberate on pressing international and regional issues.

The visit is expected to culminate in the signing of a substantial package of agreements aimed at bolstering full-scale cooperation between the two nations.
