President of Uzbekistan to Pay Working Visit to Russia at President Putin’s Invitation
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will undertake a working visit to Moscow on May 8–9, 2025.
During the visit, President Mirziyoyev is scheduled to participate in official events marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II. The commemorative ceremonies will honor the enduring sacrifices and shared history of nations that contributed to the triumph over fascism.
In addition to the anniversary events, the President of Uzbekistan will hold a series of bilateral meetings with senior Russian leadership and other foreign dignitaries, aimed at strengthening strategic cooperation and further enhancing multifaceted ties between Uzbekistan and its international partners.
