President Prabowo Subianto’s State Visits Bolster Indonesia’s Global Partnerships

Over the course of two weeks, from November 8 to 23, the President visited China, the United States, Peru, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), securing strategic agreements and significant investment commitments.
According to an Instagram post by the presidential office on Sunday, the visits resulted in strengthened bilateral cooperation, enhanced economic ties, and job creation for Indonesians. The partnerships aim to support Indonesia’s national economic growth and elevate its international standing.
Among the highlights of the tour was a US$18.5 billion investment commitment secured during President Prabowo’s visit to the United Kingdom. “I think this is quite good, showing global confidence in Indonesia’s economy,” President Prabowo said, as quoted in the post.
The presidential office described the tour as “a concrete step in strengthening Indonesia’s position on the global stage as an active and reliable partner.”
