Ain al Kasfa

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The much-anticipated development of the popular Ain al Kasfa tourist site in Rustaq, South Batinah, celebrated its completion, offering an array of enhancements to captivate tourists. Dr. Yahya Suleiman al Nadabi, Wali of Rustaq, officially announced the accomplishment of the project, which cost RO400,000 and encompasses 14 diverse initiatives aimed at elevating the site’s allure and providing enhanced amenities.

Among the notable additions are swimming pools, restaurants, cafes, expanded parking facilities, and a heritage market, strategically designed to make Ain al Kasfa hot springs, renowned for their therapeutic sulphur content, even more appealing to visitors.

Dr. Nadabi highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Governor’s Office of South Batinah and the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, emphasizing that the upgraded services and facilities are designed to ensure an enjoyable experience for visitors. The comprehensive project is anticipated to attract a substantial number of tourists, further solidifying Ain al Kasfa’s status as a premier tourist destination and contributing to economic growth in the region.

The renovation project, initiated in June 2023, saw the signing of four memoranda of understanding (MoUs) by Falha Investment Company. These agreements, with Le Furo Tokyo Company, New Golden Solutions, Kalout Company, and Al Bahja Group, aimed to advance the development of Ain al Kasfa and introduce world-class hot spring facilities in Oman.

Le Furo Tokyo Company, known for mineral extraction from hot springs, collaborated with Falha Investment Company to establish a mineral extraction center in Ain al Kasfa. New Golden Solutions, an Iranian construction company, played a pivotal role in designing and developing the project, ensuring alignment with sustainable principles and harmonious integration with the surrounding natural environment.

For effective marketing, Falha Investment Company partnered with Kalout Company, a global marketer of hot springs, to attract tourists seeking the therapeutic benefits of natural springs. The MoU with Al Bahja Group focuses on maximizing the local value of the governorate through optimal utilization of the heritage and antiquities present in the area.

With these significant enhancements, Ain al Kasfa is poised to provide a rejuvenated and memorable experience for visitors, positioning itself as a must-visit destination in the Sultanate of Oman.
