Samarkand to host UNESCO General Assembly in 2025

Paris, The Gulf Observer: At the UNESCO General Assembly in Paris, the holding of the next, 43rd session of the organization in Samarkand in 2025 was officially confirmed.

The last time a session of the UNESCO General Assembly was held outside of Paris was in 1985. Then the city of Sofia, Bulgaria, hosted the session of the organization.
