Saudi Arabia Gifts 100 Tonnes of Dates to Pakistan in Humanitarian Gesture
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has delivered a generous gift of 100 tonnes of dates from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. The handover ceremony took place at the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad, where Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki presented the donation on behalf of KSrelief.
The gift, part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting its allies and strengthening bilateral ties. Speaking at the event, Ambassador Al-Malki extended gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering dedication to global humanitarian initiatives.
Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, Director General of the Military Wing of Pakistan’s Cabinet Division, received the gift on behalf of Pakistan. He expressed profound appreciation for the Kingdom’s thoughtful gesture, emphasizing the symbolic and practical importance of the donation.
“This gift reflects the deep and enduring fraternal ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan,” Brig. Ayub stated. “The Kingdom has consistently supported the Pakistani people during times of crisis, and we are grateful for this continued partnership.”
