Saudi Arabia delivers medical equipment to Ukrainian refugees in Poland

Warsaw, The Gulf Observer: The Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has delivered medical equipment worth $5 million to meet the needs of refugees crossing to Poland from Ukraine.

Saudi Arabia’s grant worth $10 million, out of which $5 million was given to WHO by KSrelief, was handed over at a ceremony that took place in the Polish city of Slaska in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief, and Saudi Ambassador to Poland Saad Al-Saleh.

At a press conference following the handover ceremony, Dr. Al-Rabeeah said the equipment delivered were for use by medical teams working with the refugees coming from Ukraine to Poland. He noted that the grant embodied “the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to help alleviate the sufferings of refugees wherever they are.”

He expressed gratitude to WHO for its close relations and strategic partnership with KSrelief and WHO, which contributed to serving millions of refugees and the needy throughout the world.
