Sayyid Theyazin Meets Belarusian PM Roman Golovchenko
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, met with Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, at his residence in Muscat today.
During the meeting, HH Sayyid Theyazin conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus. His Majesty extended his best wishes of good health and happiness to President Lukashenko and expressed his hopes for continued progress and stability for the friendly people of Belarus.
In response, Prime Minister Golovchenko conveyed the greetings and warm sentiments of President Lukashenko to His Majesty Sultan Haitham, wishing him continued good health and wellbeing. President Lukashenko also expressed his desire for further growth and prosperity for the Omani people.
The discussions between HH Sayyid Theyazin and Prime Minister Golovchenko focused on enhancing the already strong relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus. They explored ways to expand bilateral cooperation across various sectors, aiming to strengthen ties and serve the mutual interests of both nations. Additionally, they addressed matters of common concern on the regional and international stages.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, who headed the Honorary Mission, as well as Hamoud Salim Al Tuwaih, Oman’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation and Non-Resident Ambassador to Belarus. From the Belarusian side, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of Belarus accredited to the Sultanate of Oman were present.
This high-level meeting marks another significant step in the growing partnership between Oman and Belarus, reflecting their shared commitment to deepening cooperation in various fields.
