Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Putin discuss issues of implementing high-level agreements
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed, including the practical implementation of agreements reached during the high-level visit to the Russian Federation on October 5-7 this year.
The two countries’ leaders noted with satisfaction the consistent strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia, and enhancing multifaceted cooperation.
The growth dynamics in mutual trade turnover indicators continue. Cooperation projects are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, and fruitful interregional contacts are developing. A large joint agrological complex was launched the day before in Jizzakh region.
The heads of Uzbekistan and Russia also welcomed the active cultural and humanitarian exchange and ongoing programs in the healthcare sector.
