Sultan Haitham, Macron Discuss Regional Developments and Bilateral Cooperation

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman and French President Emmanuel Macron held a telephone conversation on Sunday to discuss the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting security, stability, and freedom of navigation.

According to official information, the two leaders exchanged views on current developments in the region and reviewed diplomatic initiatives intended to bring positions closer together in support of regional peace and stability. They also underscored the importance of ensuring the freedom of maritime navigation and the uninterrupted flow of international trade.

The discussion highlighted the significance of dialogue and cooperation in addressing regional challenges and fostering a stable environment conducive to economic and commercial activities.

Sultan Haitham and President Macron also reviewed the longstanding cooperation and partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and the French Republic. The two leaders explored opportunities to further strengthen and expand bilateral relations across a range of sectors of mutual interest.
