Turkish Foreign Minister Expresses Solidarity with Pakistan in Call with FM Ishaq Dar

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, on Wednesday, reaffirming Türkiye’s steadfast support for Pakistan in the face of escalating regional tensions.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Office, Minister Fidan conveyed Türkiye’s complete solidarity with Pakistan in response to what he termed as “unprovoked Indian aggression,” as reported by local media outlets.
During the conversation, the Turkish Foreign Minister also expressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation in the region, underlining the need for restraint and diplomatic engagement to prevent further escalation.
The two foreign ministers exchanged views on the evolving dynamics in South Asia and agreed to maintain close and regular contact in light of the shifting geopolitical landscape.
The call comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with both Türkiye and Pakistan reiterating their commitment to mutual cooperation and continued dialogue on issues of regional and international importance.
