Türkiye Will Continue to Expose Realities in Gaza and Support Ceasefire Efforts: Erdogan

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reiterated Türkiye’s commitment to exposing the realities in Gaza, emphasizing the country’s ongoing support for peace efforts. Speaking on Wednesday, President Erdogan expressed hope for the successful completion of the second and third phases of the ceasefire.

President Erdogan met with a delegation from Hamas, including Muhammad Darwish, the head of the Hamas Shura Council, at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. During the meeting, the Turkish president highlighted Hamas’ 471-day struggle, noting that it underscored the enduring spirit of resistance.

“Our support for Gaza and the people’s struggle will not waver. We will continue to speak out and expose the realities faced by the people of Gaza,” President Erdogan stated.

The meeting was attended by senior Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Chief Ibrahim Kalin, and Head of Türkiye’s Communications Fahrettin Altun. The discussions centered on Türkiye’s role in advocating for peace and humanitarian aid, as well as ongoing efforts to end the conflict in the region.
